🌟 District 7 Steps Up: Helping Spartanburg Families Stay Nourished |
At a time when many families are feeling the strain of rising costs and temporary EBT suspensions, Spartanburg’s District 7 Student Services team is reminding our community that no student — and no family — should go hungry. The team has compiled a detailed list of food and nutrition resources available throughout Spartanburg County to help connect families with support when they need it most. This list includes local food banks, pantries, and assistance programs that work tirelessly to ensure children have access to healthy meals. 🍎 View the full list here: Families are encouraged to contact each provider directly to confirm hours of operation and eligibility requirements. District 7 also reminds parents that all students are eligible for FREE breakfast and lunch each school day — a vital program that helps make sure every child has the nutrition needed to learn, grow, and thrive. In addition, the district partners with several community initiatives to extend food and wellness support beyond the classroom. If your family needs additional guidance or assistance in connecting with these programs, you’re not alone — school social workers and counselors are here to help. Scripture: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39
Inspiration Quote: "The only limits that exist are the ones you place on yourself. Believe in the power of God's love and trust that you are capable of overcoming any challenge that comes your way." |
