Spartanburg Unites for Walk to End Alzheimer's, Taking Steps for a Cure

The community is rallying at Fifth Third Park this October to raise crucial funds and awareness in the fight against a devastating disease.

The upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer's in Spartanburg is more than just an event; it's a powerful statement from a community united against a relentless disease.

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, hundreds will gather to honor those affected by Alzheimer's and dementia.

The walk represents a deeply personal fight for so many local families in the Upstate.

Participants will gather at Fifth Third Park, home of the Hub City Spartanburgers, turning downtown into a sea of purple for the cause.

Registration begins at 9:00 AM, with an opening ceremony to follow at 9:45 AM, kicking off a morning of solidarity and hope.

Fundraising efforts are already showing incredible momentum.

The community has raised over $73,000, pushing towards an ambitious goal of $110,000 to fund research and support services.

Every dollar and every step brings us closer to a different future.

Organized by the Alzheimer's Association, the Spartanburg Alzheimer's walk is one of the most significant local fundraising events dedicated to memory care and research.

It's a chance to make a tangible difference while supporting neighbors and loved ones.

This is a moment for the Hub City to show its heart and its strength.
